About Us

Our history

Côté Food was created when 2 homeland-loving Breton businessmen met. Both wanted to export local products.

Olivier Rome, Company Director of the Lorient based Virage Conseil company already had a large sales network and export skills Thanks to the association with the AGH family group he made the most of poultry meat sourcing and so Côté Food started its activity.

The combination of their business skills and team spirit enabled to structure this company, which has now become a reference in terms of international meat trading.

Our company

Côté Food is the union of 2 companies : VIRAGE CONSEIL and the Breton AGH family group, gathering amongst others the following companies : ALTHO, ECOFEUTRE and TILIZ.

Our team is made of Sales people and Sales Administrators, all specialised in the european and worldwide logistics. Our experience in the international meat trading business provides us with independence and reactivity in order to meet our customers’ needs as well as possible.

Côté Food is a human scale company, made of business owners for whom territorial value is essential. Our development focus is the creation of a range of further elaborated products.

In 2016 Côté Food was awarded the IFS BROKER certification, with a special commitment to develop the 5 following points :

  • Respect of the regulations : regulatory monitoring.
  • Sustainable development: Reduction of the environmental footprint, continuous improvement.
